Brian Ford is Vice President and Head of Business Solutions and Digital Assets at ATB Financial. With more than 30 years of experience across North America and Asia-Pacific, he leads ATB’s Payments, Liquidity, Trade Finance, and Cryptocurrency businesses. Brian has extensive experience in traditional banking and digital finance, with a focus on connecting established financial services with emerging technologies. His career includes five years in Asia, where he served as Country Head for HSBC’s Global Liquidity and Cash Management business in South Korea. Throughout his career, Brian has built and grown businesses, introduced new digital solutions, and led teams through changing financial and regulatory environments. Outside of work, Brian is passionate about animal welfare and parrot rescue. He has four adopted rescue parrots and has appeared in local media to raise awareness about parrot adoption and rescue.
